まる子の家は貧乏くさい。家族も何となく貧乏くさい顔してるし、そのうえ、まるっきり間抜けです。けど、立派な家より貧乏でもみんな元気で楽しく暮らしているこんな家族が、まる子は大好き。今日も一日が風のようにさりげなく過ぎて行く。
Maruko’s family feels rather poor. Everyone somehow looks a little poor, too—and on top of that, they’re all complete goofballs.
