After breaking containment and letting out SCP-173 Cory, Uni, and Sergeant Cooper have been on the run through the SCP facility. Their last encounter has left them at the bottom of a deep dark chasm. They barely survived their fall if not for this strange bouncy substance that lets them land relatively unharmed. Cory learns that their is an unknown amount of SCP creatures in this facility. Each person here only knows about the SCPs under their supervision. Except for Cooper who seems to know a lot more than he should.
The strange substance they fell on must be a part of another escaped SCP. That means that not only has SCP-173 escaped but many others have as well. The person who runs the SCP Facility is an enigma. He has never shown his face to anyone and people believe that he himself is an SCP. Of course this is only water cooler talk and nothing can be certain. Cory totally thinks this is all real and believes every word that Cooper says.
Nachdem sie die Sicherheitsvorkehrungen durchbrochen und SCP-173 freigelassen hatten, sind Cory, Uni und Sergeant Cooper durch die SCP-Einrichtung auf der Flucht. Ihre letzte Begegnung hat sie am Grund eines tiefen, dunklen Abgrunds gestrandet. Sie hätten den Sturz kaum überlebt, wäre da nicht diese seltsame, federnde Substanz gewesen, die dafür sorgte, dass sie relativ unverletzt landeten. Cory erfährt, dass sich eine unbekannte Anzahl von SCP-Kreaturen in dieser Einrichtung befindet. Jeder hier weiß nur über die SCPs Bescheid, die unter seiner Aufsicht stehen. Mit Ausnahme von Cooper, der offenbar viel mehr weiß, als er sollte. Die seltsame Substanz, auf die sie gefallen sind, muss Teil eines anderen entflohenen SCPs sein. Das bedeutet, dass nicht nur SCP-173 entkommen ist, sondern auch viele andere. Die Person, die die SCP-Einrichtung leitet, ist ein Rätsel. Er hat sich noch nie jemandem gezeigt, und die Leute glauben, dass er selbst ein SCP ist.
