年は明け、平穏な時が過ぎている特車二課。隊長の佐伯は不在で整備班は草野球に興じている。事件もなにもなく時間を持て余す隊員たち。そんな中、退屈に耐え切れなくなった十和は日誌に自分たちが大事件に出動する妄想を書き始める。
The new year has begun, and Special Vehicles Division 2 is experiencing a period of peace and quiet. Their commander, Saeki, is absent, and the maintenance crew is enjoying a casual baseball game. With no incidents or problems, the team members have plenty of time on their hands. Unable to bear the boredom any longer, Towa begins to write in her journal fantasies about them being deployed to a major incident.
