Kim und Ron arbeiten im Rahmen eines Schulpraktikums als sogenannte "Sonnenscheinchen". Sie sind dafür verantwortlich, ältere Menschen mit ihrer jugendlichen Energie wieder aufzubauen. Ron nimmt sich Mr. Norths an. Dabei entdeckt er im Keller des alten Herrn eine Art Höhle, einen Frettchenbau, sowie einige Utensilien, die einen zu einem Superhelden machen.
When Ron is volunteering to help the elderly by doing tasks for them, Ron is assigned to the house of Timothy North, an elderly man who has sent all volunteers away. However, Ron stumbles across the fact that Timothy North is really The Fearless Ferret, an old superhero who Ron adores; in which Ron is selected to become the new Fearless Ferret but he must keep his identity a secret, even from Kim. Though when The White Stripe comes to fight the new Fearless Ferret, Ron discovers it’s more difficult than he expected; while Kim is busy trying to figure out why Ron is behaving strangely.
Kim e Ron svolgono un lavoro di volontariato all'ospedale per assistere gli anziani di Middleton; durante questo lavoro Ron fa la conoscenza del burbero eremita Timothy North, ed ispezionando la sua casa scopre un passaggio segreto e l'identità di supereroe dell'uomo: il Furetto Impavido. Elettrizzato Ron convince l'anziano signore a fargli assumere il manto di combattente al crimine ed essere il suo mentore durante tale attività. L'attività del ragazzo riporta però in azione anche il folle Striscia Bianca, supercriminale nemico del Furetto. Kim tuttavia, preoccupata per Ron decide di indagare e scopre che sia North che Striscia Bianca erano solamente due attori in un serial TV cancellato alla seconda stagione, entrambi immersi troppo nei loro ruoli non sono mai riusciti ad uscirne. I due ragazzi tenteranno dunque di riportare il duo di attori alla ragione.

Ron Stoppable arbetar som frivillig inom äldreomsorgen. På besök hos den vresige pensionären Timothy North upptäcker Ron dennes hemliga identitet. North var i sin ungdom en Batmanliknande superhjälte som kallade sig Lilla Illern. Ron erbjuder sig att ta över Lilla Illerns trikåer och föra brottsbekämpandet vidare. Efter lite övertalning går North med på förslaget. På plats i Middletons undre värld får Ron stora problem när han stöter ihop med Illerns ärkefiende Skunken. Ännu mera tilltrasslat blir det när Kim upptäcker att Lilla Illern aldrig har funnits – annat än som rollfigur i en tv-serie!
