This documentary by Barbet Schroeder was made with the dictator Idi Amin's full co-operation when he was at the height of his murderous powers in the seventies. It shows the then Ugandan president making his troops practise an invasion of Israel, and letting the camera into a cabinet meeting after which one of his ministers was murdered. Amin also defends Hitler, saying he was right to have killed six million Jews. This film portrait offers an insight into one of the most savage tyrannies of our time.
