In part one of the Dino Dex season finale, Dex and Kayla need help taking on the Colossal Squid, Megalodon, and Albertonectes while hunting for fossils in their time-bending submarine. It's clear who they should bring in but, when both Kayla and Saara suggest they call Dana, Dex doesn't want to. It's up to big sister Saara to find out why.
In part two of the Dino Dex season finale, Saara realizes that Dex is feeling ignored by their paleontological superstar middle sister Dana, who is away working on a dino finding in the field. Saara and Kayla combine forces to bring the siblings together for an epic submarine adventure to help Dex realize that scientists must work together to make major discoveries.
