So yeah, one could argue The Sixth Sense contains the most overrated twists of all time simply because of its fame. But what I think makes the Sixth Sense a classic isn't just its twist ending. I think it's just a really entertaining and well-made movie. If it weren't, record-breaking audiences never would've bothered to sit through it in the first place. So today, I want to examine The Sixth Sense without explicitly calling out its ending, and just look at how the movie functions despite the twist, not because of it.
