There’s a sketching event at the zoo, but neither Maruko’s parents nor Tama-chan’s are willing to accompany them. The girls are determined to go. Since Hamaji’s and Butaro’s mothers are apparently going, the girls arrange to tag along. Once they arrive at the zoo, they immediately choose animals and begin to draw.
動物園で写生大会があるのだが、まる子の親もたまちゃんの親も同行してくれない。どうしても二人は動物園に行きたい。はまじとブー太郎のお母さんが行ってくれるらしいので、二人は一緒に連れてってもらうことにした。動物園に到着し、さっそく描く動物を選び描き始める。
