今日は七五三。まる子は世間でそんな行事があることも、すっかり忘れて寝ていた日曜日の朝。神奈川からおじいちゃんとおばあちゃんに晴れ姿を見せにくるらしい。いとこのひろあきと馬が合わないまる子だったが、遊んでいくうちに可愛い一面もあるんだと見直した。
Today is Shichi-Go-San, though Maruko had completely forgotten such a thing even existed as she slept late on a Sunday morning. Apparently her grandparents are coming from Kanagawa with her cousin Hiroaki all dressed up for the occasion. Maruko doesn’t usually get along with him, but as they spend time together she begins to see he has a rather sweet side after all.
