政府宣佈即將重建彩虹邨──這條超過60年的名牌屋邨，滿載香港情懷，是幾代人的成長與回憶。劇集以七個發生在彩虹之下、細膩動人的小故事，編寫各種情感與遺憾，建構香港人的屋邨情懷，當中由不同人物串連不同故事，阡陌交錯，並在當中穿插彩虹邨進入倒數的命運，引發現實共鳴。彩虹邨有期限，人與人的關係也有期限，但因為有了期限，我們才更加珍惜；地方會改變，但當中的人情卻永留心中。
